Lately I’ve seen a lot of tilt shift photos where the image is wholly or partly blurred, giving a very cool effect. Often it almost looks like a miniature world, like the electrical train I played with as a kid. At the latest Art Amsterdam there where quite a few tilt shift blurry photos and I saw them elsewhere as well. Because you see this effect so often now, I think it is becoming a bit of a gimmick.

This tilt shift video is really nice though and what makes it quite special, it’s shot with just a Samsung Galaxy S2 cellphone! Beautifully made!
