Leica look

Photographer Ashwin Rao posted an article on Steve Huff’s blog about the ‘Leica look’ and the question whether that look exists or not. I think it does, actually that special look is one of the reasons that makes me use the Leica. Can you see it? Which one of the photos below is taken with a Leica? Or has that typical Leica look?

    Second one is Leica ( I think!). Others could be too but my money is on number 2.

    I would also say 1st and 3rd. The first one has that creaminess in the window.

    Thank you for your replies! Time to lift the veil.. The last three photos were made with a Leica: #2 and #4 with the M9 and #3 with an M6. Lenses were the 35 cron for #2 and #3 and the 50 cron for #4 (I believe). The first photo was made with a Nikon D700 and the Nikkor 1.4/50.
